If you have browsed through the list of certifications EMC has to offer and are still unsure of where you would like to take your IT information management career, consider a product/technology specific certification. In this track, EMC customers and partners can choose from four products to specialize in. Candidates will learn to integrate, maintain, and manage infrastructure solutions using the technology of their choice, allowing for ability to abide by customer and business requirements effortlessly and deploying effective solutions that can limit downtime and increase productivity within a company or organization.

This EMC certification track is unique because unlike the other tracks, the product/technology specific track is not broken down by level of certification. Instead, there is a single certification for each product; each is at the same level of difficulty and can be earned by taking a single qualifying exam. Certifications are available in the following four technologies: EMC SourceOne, Data Domain, Captiva, and Ionix for IT Operations Intelligence. In addition, partners of EMC are eligible to earn one more certification, RecoverPoint Data Replication and Recovery.

Working in this field can provide numerous career benefits. Not only will you be a go-to leader in your company for the technologies you certify in, but you will be responsible for knowing all aspects of the technology and leveraging all product capabilities. You will serve as an adviser in the integration process and will participate in all decision processes that involve storage and information management related to the technology. You will serve an important role within the company and will receive the compensation to prove it. These benefits and more can be earned by investing in an EMC product/technology certification, so what are you waiting for?
