Starting a website from a blank sheet in Photoshop is pretty hard, for some users it’s near to impossible. Sometimes people who can code in JavaScript, HTML and CSS find difficulties in this process. Fortunately for everyone Twitter developers and designers know each and every difficulty of this situation, that’s why they’ve launched a framework called Bootstrap that makes life easier for web designers and developers.

Much have already been said about this framework, no need to talk over and over again about what it is and how to use it. I’m just going to outline several features to remind you what you may be losing, if you still don’t use

Bootstrap Language – LESS:

  • 12 column adaptive layout, support for mobile devices, tablets and widescreen monitors, examples of classes:. span3,. span8;
  • Lots of components including, buttons, drop-down menus, your own style of input fields, lists, headings, labels, icons, alerts, tabs, progress bars, tooltips, “accordion”, “carousel”, and so on (see the screenshot below);
  • Lots of Javascript-plugins;
  • Complete documentation;
  • Support of Scaffolding, including the use of Bootstrap-style to ready-made HTML.

Large community that writes new plug-ins that can be full integral ed into the design. If you google the word Bootstrap, you?ll get more than 14,600,000 results. With such a great amount of information about Bootstrap there is one thing missing, and its structuring. Guys from TemplateMonster decided to gather and categorize most important info about the framework (including tutorials, guides, extensions, plugins and various other goodies), and this is what came out of their work.

As you can see the guide reminds Windows 8 Metro interface. The choice of this looks was made intentionally, this interface is known to be extremely intuitive and easy to get through.

So how to use it?
